Stayin' Classy

Brink adverts have been appearing everywhere lately, it seems like you can’t use the internet without being told about the struggle for the Ark. After seeing its Mirrors Edge/Team Fortress 2 stylings displayed in gameplay footage and pre-release cinematics, this game was one that was always on our wanted lists, meaning as soon as it came out we all bought a copy in very quick succession.

Shouldn't Have Bothered

Worms has been a pretty prominent feature in our gaming life for the past year or so, once we all started hanging out it was quickly a game that caught our eye whilst browsing xbox live, eventually although being students I dove ahead and made yet another frivolous gaming purchase for the sake of shits and giggles for want of a better phrase. There are some issues with the game, the online is now all but bare, the campaign is of course limited and the DLC available is not cheap by any extent regardless of the age of the game, this of course doesn’t mean that I didn’t purchase this as well.

Fuckin' Rad

So, several months of summer, and a lot of great games coming out this year. As a collaboration effort Matt and I have taken it upon ourselves to begin writing web comics, having no shortage of games, with no shortage of funny quirks within them.

Alright.

Hello. We love games :)

As students, living together over the summer, were going to be finding a lot of spare time on our hands. Gaming would take up most of this time, but with the final year of uni approaching it would be beneficial for at least some of us get some art online and enforce a practice regime. Instead of sitting on our arses, twiddling our thumbs to the bloody stump, we believe it would be good to express ourselves, our passion for games and contribute to some form of community (i.e. the internet!).
